Our Story & Purpose

Corio Soccer Club has proudly represented Geelong’s northern suburbs since 1955. 

For 70 years, we have been more than a football club, we have been a family where opportunity, belonging and community come first.

Our mission is simple: to make football accessible to every child and family, regardless of background or financial circumstances.

 While many clubs rely on high registration fees to sustain operations, we are committed to keeping costs low, with junior fees starting from just $300, so that no young person misses the chance to play the beautiful game. 

Our home at Hume Reserve backs directly onto North Geelong Secondary College, a school that welcomes many newly arrived families to our region. For us, that is not just geography, it is purpose. 

Each year, students from migrant and refugee backgrounds join our teams, finding confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging through football.
